Drills, Reamers & Form Relief Tooling
Empire manufactures a variety of special drills, reamers, recess tools, counterbores, spot-facing tools, trepan tools and hollow mills. Tools can be made from high speed steel or solid carbide, or they can be carbide tipped. Our state-of-the-art CNC grinding equipment can meet tolerances of less than .0001 to insure consistent performance. Retipping and re-sharpening services are also available. Tools can be made to your prints, or we can design tools specifically for your application. Empire's form relief tooling is available in high speed steel, and tungsten carbide-tipped construction. Special coatings can also be applied if desired. Manufacturing capabilities include:

Tools made from high speed steel can be ground or unground form relieved.
Solid carbide and carbide-tipped tools can be ground with radial relief by
our highly skilled machinists or on our high precession CNC grinding equipment
